At the Painted Bar Stables, all horses are treated as if they were our own. We only offer the best quality grain, wood shavings and 1st and 2nd cutting timothy hay, as well as1st cutting alfalfa mixes. Each horse gets an assigned stall and is treated like a special member of our family and herd.

The owner, Erika, and our stable hands live on the premises in the Painted Bar Homestead so if there is ever an emergency we are there, on-call and ready to help protect your horse.

Being right next to the Interloken Horse Trails that traverse the Finger Lakes National Forest, you'll have access to over 12 miles of riding trails. In addition, you'll have full access to our indoor and outdoor arena. This means that even if the weather doesn't understand that you are up here to see how beautiful the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Country is, you'll still have the ability to ride your horse and make the most of your vacation.
