Painted Bar Stables offers two week-long horseback riding youth program in the summer. This is a family run co-ed program with limited availability (10 riders) for children 10-15 years old.

All riders will be assigned their own horse for the week and will take two lessons each day: an arena lesson and a trail riding lesson. Once during the week riders compete in pony club games and on the last day, campers will be taken on a full day of trail riding, camping and swimming with their horses!

The program is run from 9:00am to 4:00pm for the five days.

Because Painted Bar Stables specializes in trail riding, all lessons and experiences will be geared towards encouraging our riders to develop the following skills:

• Walk and Trot
• Relationship Building with their Horse
• Problem Solving and Dealing with Fear
• Barn and Stable Management

	2010 Horseback Youth Adventure Special = $350 That's only $70 a day for hours of riding and adventure! Includes: 2-3 hours of horseback riding per day (a value of $375) Recreational and Educational Activities Full Care and Safety by CPR/First Aid Certified Adults Use of safety helmet Not Included: Lunches and Beverages Proper Attire (Pants, Closed-Toed Shoes (preferably boots with a heel, no Sneakers or Sandals will be allowed) A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your reservation. Balance is due the day camp begins. Additional Photo Package = $50 Professional photographer A.C. Jacobs of www.oatstuffer.com will be attending our camp to take photos. If you would like a CD with photos of your child and their horse please pre-pay along with your camp fees on Monday.
