Painted Bar Stables is a 22 acre equestrian center located in the heart of Upstate New York's wine country. Surrounded by rolling hills and lush glens, the area is the ideal atmosphere for the equestrian spirit.

Young and spry, JKGS Awesome Desmond has proven to be an incredibly intelligent young man. With the exact same markings as his sire and grand sire, he truly carries on his genetic coloration, but in the cremello form.
For 2010, we are expecting two of his offspring to show as examples. One out of our medicine cap sorrel tobiano-overo mare, Maximum Review, and one out of our red dun tobiano mare, Double My Scotch.
Bloodlines include: Awesome Andy (Multiple APHA and PtHA World Champion and APHA Leading Sire), Mighty Awesome, Coosa Lad, Chic Bars, Super Charge, Leo, and Barlink Macho Man.
Will produce 100% palomino when crossed on sorrel/chestnut mares.
Will produce 58% buckskin, 34% palomino and 8% smokey black when crossed on Bay or Black mares.
He will NEVER produce Sorrel, Chestnut, or Bay.
