Foal - Sierra Mist PocoTwist
Born June 15, 2009

Sierra Mist PocoTwistSierra Mist PocoTwist with sire Sierras All The Gold

2009
APHA foal
PalominoTobiano
$2,500.00/neg.

Born June 15, 2009, Sierra Mist Poco Twist is out of Pepsi Pocos LeoDandy by Sierras All The Gold. Sierras Mist. He has perfect conformation and is already showing signs that his strides will be as smooth and graceful as his father and as fast as his mother.

A social young colt, Mister already leads, ties, lets us pick up his feet, touch his ears, and groom him all over. He is well socialized and willingly lets multiple children in our lesson groups touch him at once. He has all of the potential, attitude and breeding to be the perfect child safe horse or to develop into a champion reining mount.

Sierras All The Gold is a born and bred working cow horse with a number of reining and cutting champions in his past. Quick on his feet and brave, Sierra has been used with cows and untrained broncs and has always stepped up to the plate. His conformation also puts him in any English category thanks to his flexibility and ability to gracefully maintain an arched head carriage.

Pepsi Pocos LeoDandy is an offspring of the now deceased Pepsi Poco, renowned for producing reining champions. His offspring have earned numerous awards. Pepsi is 15.1hh black and white tobiano. She has a steady character and is safe with children. She is built like the old-style quarter horses, heavy, sturdy and strong legged, with speed and muscle to match.

Mia Stella

Mia Stella - 1989 Standardbred Mare

1989
Bay Standardbred Mare
15.2 hands high
$800.00/non-neg.

Mia Stella is looking for a more intimate home.

Mia is a lovely bay mare with a star and one pastern. She has pulled carts, been ridden trail rides and had a small career as a show jumper. She has also produced some beautiful babies - her latest was a cross with an Arab is 2003. She loads well onto trailers.

Mia is a gentle soul and particularly likes women. She is very affectionate and especially understanding of emotions. She is the first stall I go to when I have a bad day or need to cry. She has a depth of understanding. She knows her cues perfectly and has a beautiful fluidity to her gaits. That said, she has been out of practice when it comes to arena work for some time and can occasionally be skittish. She still has the talent that she used to but I have only ridden her on occasional trail rides for the past year and thus she could use an strong intermediate or advanced rider.

She is a purebred 1989 Standardbred mare that has lost her papers along the way. She is 100% sound in every way. She has never had a lame day with me and I have NEVER used bute on her. She has no signs of arthritis, never foundered, and has great feet. Her teeth were just floated last month and she is current on her shots and coggins.

My vet has checked her for fertility, as I was planning to breed her this year, and she is in perfect condition for breeding. If the buyer would prefer, I can sell her either open or bred. Breeding would be to one of my APHA stallions for a 50% discounted rate (for the Perlino it would be $300, the Cremello would be $175). The baby would be registrable as a Pinto in the PtHA.

DaVinci
Sold 2008.10.27

1999
Bay Thoroughbred Gelding
16.2 hands high
$950.00/neg.

SOLD to WENDY WOOL of Mansfield, PA

DaVinci's a great horse who I took off the track five years ago and re-trained as a pleasure horse. He's tall, dark and handsome, has the most intelligent, endearing personality and a willingness to please. His personality is by far his best asset - he loves humans and does his best to please them. He'll follow you everywhere if you let him.

He re-trained easily, but I've not had the time to ride him so he's very out of practice. In the past, I've ridden him on trails and he has guts and endurance. I did started him over fences but never finished him.

DaVinci is registered and tattooed through the Jockey Club but I do not have his paperwork.

I'm selling him, despite the fact that he brings so much love to my stable because I'm refocusing on breeding. I'd really like him to go to a home that uses him regularly because as such a young gelding he has the ability to provide someone years of joy.
